I provide private or semi-private lessons and coaching for players who are members of the SCHH Pickleball Club.
Every player brings different experiences, strengths, challenges, and goals to the court. That’s why I tailor each lesson to you—whether you’re learning the game, working through a persistent problem, returning after time away, or striving to become a more confident and competitive player.
New to Pickleball?
You don’t need a background in tennis or another racquet sport to become a capable pickleball player. I can help you develop the eye-to-hand coordination, footwork, ball control, and sound fundamentals needed to play more consistently—and have more fun.
How I Can Help You
Individual players work with me to:
- Learn or improve specific shots, including serves, returns, drives, drops, dinks, volleys, overheads, resets, and safe lob retrieval.
- Identify and correct frustrating habits, such as hitting the ball too high, hooking serves wide, using the wrong grip or hand-wrist position, or not getting into the “shot ready” position (among others).
- Return to the game safely and confidently after an injury, health issue, or extended layoff.
- Become more competitive by improving shot placement, consistency, power, topspin, and slice.
- Strengthen decision-making, court positioning, and overall game strategy.
- Rebuild confidence after experiencing the “yips,” struggling in competition, or losing a match you expected to win.
Coaching Centered on You
With more than 5,000 hours of on-court coaching experience, I completely understand the challenges players encounter at every stage of development. I’ve worked through a long list of challenges too.
There is no one-size-fits-all lesson plan. Your coaching will be shaped around your skills, habits, goals, learning style, and the way you play.
As I often like to say: “It’s all about you.”
